Usage & compliance
A study tool. Full stop.
This page is short because the position is simple, and it is written as product design, not fine print.
What Prism Solver is
Prism Solver is an off-table study tool. You configure a spot, the solver computes an approximate equilibrium, and you study it: browse strategies, compare EVs, lock nodes, practice against the solution. All of it happens away from any real game.
What it will never be
The following are permanent design commitments, not current limitations:
- No live-play integration. Prism Solver does not connect to, read from, or interact with any poker site or client, and never will.
- No HUD. No overlay, no opponent statistics, no hand-history data mining of other players.
- No real-time assistance. Nothing in the product is designed to be usable during a live hand, and we will not build features that are. This constraint shapes the product's actual architecture — solves take deliberate setup and compute time by nature, and the interface is built for review, not consultation under time pressure.
Usage policy
You are responsible for complying with the rules of any site you play on and the laws of your jurisdiction. Most sites explicitly permit solver study away from the table and explicitly prohibit real-time use; Prism Solver is built for the former and refuses, by design, to be the latter. If you intend to use it any other way, do not buy it.
A formal terms-of-use document will accompany the 1.0 release. The commitments on this page will not change with it.
